Established in 1998, Salt Spring Brewing Co. was born from a simple idea: make honest beer that tastes like the place it comes from. We sit at the end of a quiet farming road at the base of Mount Bruce, surrounded by the forests and fields of the Fulford Valley.
Everything we make is brewed, canned and distributed 100% from this one location. We work with local and wildcrafted ingredients whenever we can — like the heather in our flagship pale ale — to capture a little of Salt Spring Island in every can.
We believe beer is best enjoyed slowly, outdoors, with good company and a few trees overhead. That's why we invite everyone who visits to do one simple thing: #drinkbeerwithnature.
